  • Payment information (card details stored securely via a tokenised system – no card details are stored directly by us)

We do not collect any other special category personal data, except gender and disability information where voluntarily provided.

  • All booking data is stored securely via Guestline Ltd (Rezlynx system), which is UK GDPR compliant. 
  • Data is stored behind firewalls, antivirus protection, and systems tested as part of PCI DSS compliance. 
  • Our website uses SSL encryption throughout. 
  • Credit/debit card details are tokenised by Guestline and OTAs – we never store card details directly. 
  • Access is restricted to authorised staff only. 
  • Hard copies (where legally required, e.g. for tax purposes) are securely stored for up to 7 years. 
  • Pre-authorisations may be held on cards during your stay and up to 72 hours after checkout. 

 

Cookies 

We use cookies to improve your browsing experience, analyse website traffic, and tailor services. Cookies do not give us access to your computer or personal information beyond what you choose to share. 

We use:

What Happens If You Do Not Accept This Policy? 

If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, we will be unable to process your booking or provide services. You may still book via OTAs, but data provided there will also be subject to their own privacy policies. 

Scam messaging or phising emails 

Due to the increase in scammers and phishing targeting hotels, travel agents, and guests, we would like to bring the following to your attention:

The hotel will only call or message from the official UK telephone number or whatsapp number via Canary.  The email would also end with the official hotel domain: @eurotravellerhotel.com.  See contact us page for official numbers

The hotel does not ask guests to reconfirm their booking, re-enter details provided at the time of booking, or provide card details again. All bookings are prepaid at the time of booking. Any additional purchases made after the booking will be charged either through the “Manage My Booking” option or directly at the hotel.

We may send payment links via email or WhatsApp for upgrades or additional services; however, these links are only sent with prior agreement between the guest and the hotel. 

If you receive any email, WhatsApp message, SMS, or phone call asking for your personal or card details that have not been agreed with the hotel through official communication channels, please contact the hotel immediately and do not engage with the message or call.
